Auto Retail Sales Hit Record High in May, Strong Demand Drives Industry To Best-Ever Monthly Performance

India's automobile retail sales reached a record 25.31 lakh units in May, growing 9.55 percent year-on-year. Passenger vehicles led the growth with a 23.25 percent rise, while two-wheelers, commercial vehicles and three-wheelers also posted gains despite heatwave conditions and delayed monsoon activity.
