Bhopal Cab Strike: Online Cab Aggregators Protest Against Bike Taxis, Lower Fares; Local Taxis Slam Ola, Uber For Disrupting Business

Ola, Uber and Rapido drivers continued their strike in Bhopal on Wednesday, causing inconvenience to daily commuters. Four-wheelers remained largely off roads, while fares surged sharply on available rides. Drivers demanded commercial registration for private bikes and a fixed base fare of Rs 80, with Rs 25 per kilometre thereafter. The strike will continue till August 20.
