Auto retails enter the fast lane as GST boost revs up local demand

Last year's vehicle sales experienced a remarkable recovery, posting a 7.7% increase, largely attributed to tax incentives that invigorated consumer interest. Sales of two-wheelers and three-wheelers saw a boost of 7.2% each. The passenger vehicle segment flourished, with retail sales climbing by 9.7%. Tractors soared with an impressive 11.5% growth, while commercial vehicle sales improved by 6.7%.
